Terms and Conditions

Go Norway AS, Gyldenløves gate 2B, 4611 Kristiansand, org no 931 310 623 MVA, operates a rental service where businesses and consumers can rent equipment for mutual benefit by ordering the equipment online and picking it up and returning it at a local store. The service also includes a membership offer where those who need equipment a bit more often get advantages.


These conditions apply to the rental and sale of goods and services from to businesses and consumers. The conditions, together with your order, will form a collective agreement basis for the purchase.

2-Definition of parties

The lessor or seller is: Go Norway AS and is hereinafter referred to as we, us, lessor, or Go Norway.

The renter is: the person stated as the renter or buyer in the order and is hereinafter referred to as the renter, the customer, you, your, yours.

Rental objects involve tools, equipment, machines, and everything else rented at

Delivery method/service points mean delivery or return in-store, kiosk, or home delivery.

3 Payment, deposit, and prices

Payment is made via Visa or Mastercard online via our payment form DIBS, which meets the strictest security requirements. The renter pays when ordering, and then the lease agreement is considered entered into.

Go Norway follows regular rental practices and also reserves a deposit amount as stated on the order receipt when ordering. The reservation ensures if the customer returns the tool late, damages the tool, or does not deliver at all. The deposit size varies with the chosen equipment to be rented and is apparent from your order confirmation. Go Norway has the right to use the deposit to cover rent and other costs mentioned above and/or any recourse claims, cf. point 5 below.

All prices include value-added tax. The total cost of the purchase will appear before ordering and include all expenses associated with rent or purchase. If there has been a substantial error with the prices from Go Norway's side on the website, Go Norway can unilaterally change, delete or reject orders even after the customer has received an order confirmation or similar. However, such errors must be corrected and inform the customer within a reasonable time after the error is discovered.

4-Rental object's condition

Go Norway is committed to delivering high-quality rental objects in operational condition. Go Norway has its routines that check and maintain the rental objects before and after rental.

During the rental period, you are responsible for any damages or losses to the equipment. Exemption from liability can occur if the damage or loss is due to technical errors or deficiencies. Therefore, the renter is obliged to check the rental object before use and contact Go Norway if the rental object should not be in the expected condition.


All damages, technical failures, or accidents that may occur during the rental period should be reported to Go Norway immediately. We will then do our best to help the renter. Damage is reported to immediately. This also applies in case of theft.

If the damages occur due to incorrect use, deliberate action, or negligence, Go Norway may use the pre-reserved deposit and, if necessary, withdraw further outstanding amounts to cover the costs associated with repair, service, or replacement of the goods. This also applies if the equipment is returned in neglected or dirty condition beyond the normal.

We always strive to provide the best advice and tips for using the rental object but are not responsible for execution or for direct or indirect damages or losses resulting from the use of the rental object, delays, or errors on the rental object.

6-Use of the rental object

Use of rental objects is at your own risk. The person using the equipment must be over 18 years old.

The renter is responsible for the equipment and accessories being used in such a way that it is not damaged or unreasonably soiled. Correct and safe use of the item is the renter's responsibility. Go Norway facilitates the correct use of the item by making available user manuals, instructions, and safety procedures with the tool and/or on Go Norway's websites. It is the customer's responsibility to familiarize themselves with Go Norway's use and safety routines before using the equipment.

We recommend the use of protective equipment. You must also follow the equipment's instructions and other instructions from Go Norway.


Accessories must, as a rule, be purchased or rented separately when ordering the tool and are selected according to the task the renter wants to perform on the website. The website also describes what is included in the delivery of the rental object. In addition, safety equipment is required in many situations and is offered on the website. Accessories that are personal or consumables that wear out are not rented out. For accessories sold and not used, point 12 Right of Withdrawal applies.

8-Renter's rights and obligations

The renter must be 18 years old and is obliged to provide correct customer details when creating a user account to be able to order and rent on Go Norway sends messages to the specified email, address, and phone and such messages are considered received.

The user account is personal, and if you suspect that others have access to your account, you are obligated to notify Go Norway immediately. Go Norway has the right to freely reject, terminate or suspend user accounts without notice or liability, including if the terms are considered breached.

Furthermore, these rental conditions must be accepted before ordering on the website.

The renter must return the rental object before the agreed date and time expire and in the agreed delivery method. The renter is expected to keep up to date with the service point's normal opening hours.

The renter or cardholder gives Go Norway authority to make credit card instructions for, among other things, rental objects that are not returned, are dirty beyond the normal or in case of damage to the rental object. The power of attorney thus given also authorizes the payment card to be charged for additional rental / claim for compensation if the rental object is returned after the expiry of the agreed rental period or returned with defects or deficiencies.

Delay with regard to the return of the tool beyond 1 - one - hour in relation to the agreed rental time gives Go Norway a claim for one day's extra rent and an addition, which covers additional costs Go Norway has for late submission. If the rental object has not been returned after one day, Go Norway has a claim to have the agreed daily price replaced as long as the item is actually available and has not been returned by the renter.

9- Change of order

To change an order, Go Norway must be contacted. The changes will not be valid until they are confirmed in writing from us. This is to ensure that the rental objects are actually available. Unless otherwise agreed and confirmed, the rental object must be returned at the agreed time. An extension of the rental period can take place before the start of the rental period and / or during the rental period by changing the start or end of the rental.

Changes and cancellations of rental objects that result in the availability of the rental objects for other users being changed may be associated with a change fee to cover costs of rebooking. The change fee is currently on the day price of the item. All costs will be informed to the renter before order entry or order change.

10-Delivery and return

Delivery and return takes place in the manner, at the place and at the time indicated on the order confirmation. You can also find it under your side. We are responsible for the products until they are taken over by you, i.e. when you have received the products in your possession. To have the rental object delivered, you must have your booking reference. The name you provide on the reservation must match the name on the ID card upon collection.

If the delivery of the rental objects is delayed, we will give you information as soon as we have knowledge of it, along with information about and possibly when delivery can take place, or if the product(s) are sold out or the rental object(s) are not available.

You are responsible for the product until it is returned to us or our store.

We check the rental objects condition and function and that all parts are present when they come in at our warehouse. Upon complete delivery in contractual condition, the reservation for the deposit on the payment card is deleted.


Membership gives you rights to reduction of prices and other member benefits. Both private individuals and businesses can be members, but it is the person who is enrolled who is legally responsible and contract party.

Membership is automatically renewed until it is terminated by the renter. It is terminated on the account page by stopping the subscription. The membership will then expire the current period and then terminate.
12 Right of withdrawal on purchase
The Cancellation Act gives you the right to cancel your purchases. The right of withdrawal applies to goods that are purchased and not for rental objects. The right of withdrawal assumes that you give us a message about this no later than 14 days after you receive the delivery (See the cancellation law ).

To use the right of withdrawal, the product must be delivered to us in approximately the same quantity and condition as you received it. If you try, use or examine the item (open packaging etc) in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to determine the item's nature, properties and function and this causes the item to decrease in value, we can deduct an amount equivalent to the value reduction in the purchase amount to be repaid. For example, if you try a dust mask, saw with saw blade, or drill a hole with a drill, the right of withdrawal does not apply.

The product is returned to us in the original packaging and within a reasonable time, along with the right of withdrawal form. The easiest way is to return the item in the same box as when you return the rental object. Then there are no costs for you. Fill out the right of withdrawal form and put it in the box. If you choose to send it back by post or other methods, it is your responsibility until the item has reached us. You must provide your own, suitable packaging and contact us before sending.

13-Intellectual property rights

The content and service are protected by the Copyright Act. Image material stored on the site is obtained with permission from the copyright holders. Videos on youtube are links to third-party service outside Go Norway control.


Go Norway processes your personal information in a secure data registry in order to fulfill its obligations and uphold its rights in accordance with the rental agreement. The personal information that is processed includes your name, address, phone number, email address, and order history. This history will remain stored for accounting and other obligations. All stored information is accessible in "My Account". The tenant has the right to have their personal data removed from the suplier's systems, which is done by personally contacting Go Norway.

Your payment card will be stored as long as you have an active order. The storage of the payment card is carried out by our payment intermediary, DIBS. They store the information in a secure and prudent manner. Storing your payment card makes shopping even easier. You can delete the payment card on your page. Go Norway itself does not store any credit card details.

Go Norway uses cookies, like most other online stores. Cookies store data in your browser so that the website can recognize you from page to page and visit to visit. This allows us to recognize who you are so that, among other things, you can get accurate prices and easier login. We also collect usage information to improve the quality of the service.

15-Choice of Law

These terms are subject to and shall be interpreted in accordance with Norwegian law. The agreed venue is Oslo District Court.


Go Norway reserves the right at any time to change or replace these terms. The current terms are always available at If Go Norway considers the changes in the terms to be significant in relation to the tenant's rights or obligations, the changes will be made available at 30 days before they come into effect.

By using the service after the changes in the terms have been made available at, you agree to be bound by the updated terms. If you do not wish to accept the new terms, you may not use Go Norway.
